Matteo Sirani
PhD Student in Economics
Bonn Graduate School of Economics
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a trainee and consultant in the Monetary Policy Strategy Division at the ECB. I hold an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and a bachelor's degree in Finance from Bocconi University.
My research focuses on macroeconomics, particularly models with heterogeneous firms. I am interested in the intersection of empirical macroeconomics and structural modeling, using rich micro-level data to study firm dynamics, financial frictions, and the transmission of macroeconomic shocks.
